Are machines actually better?

This class was called Rapid Prototyping. During this course, we have learned many many things. First thing being, what kind of machines are people using nowadays? The answer to this question is Vinyl Cutters, CNC Machines, 3D printers, Laser Cutters, and Water Jet Cutters. For FE's (Field Experience) we had one in particular that really caught my attention, which was the trip to mhub which was my favorite FE. mhub is a place that allows people to get access to extremely expensive machines that can help them with the manufacturing process for their businesses. I loved it because those types of machines (the ones mentioned early in the intro) are very connected to my life since my dad and I have built CNC machines and I also have spent many hours at the Museum of Science and Industry Fab Lab. So far this class has been wonderful and I have learned so much. For this AP we had to make a presentation on the difference between making a poster with a vinyl cutter vs. using your hands. We also use the distance formula to find the distance between the two farthest points in a letter. This project was super fun to make and I encountered many challenges along the way.
